MARKETING + EVENTS INTERN

The Marketing + Events Intern is responsible for assisting in social media engagement, events and PR efforts to grow our INBA community. This role collaborates with the design team to document behind the scenes media while ensuring consistency in our brand voice and style. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design, appreciation for INBA’s design philosophy and style, a true love for online marketing and a skill for connecting with others.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Assist in social content calendars planning

  • Assist in posting across Instagram, Pinterest, and our website blog

  • Brainstorm and implementing new ways to connect to clients on and offline

  • Create monthly email newsletter graphics

  • Assist in capturing creative video/photo behind the scenes content during photoshoots, installs, and events

  • Assist in Styling Day at clients’ homes and tasks related with styling photoshoots including shopping for materials/styling accessories

  • In-person work environment: Located in Andersonville neighborhood of Chicago or on site for client home visits (Remote option available for the right candidate)

  • 3 month paid contract position with option to extend into marketing assistant role

Qualifications

  • Must be detail oriented and enjoy being creative

  • Amazing communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be available 10+ hrs a week/2-3 days

  • Must be available to start Spring/Summer 2025

  • Values growth mindset and self leadership

  • Excellent knowledge of applications such as Canva, Lightroom, Instagram, Pinterest, Dropbox and willingness to learn other platforms such as Planoly, Squarespace

  • Marketing Experience: 1+ years (Preferred)

  • Bonus for having current portfolio of social media marketing examples and experience with Google Analytics
